Thomas Tuchel’s side have dominated their group in the qualifying games and tonight’s win means they are through to next summer’s main tournament with two matches to spare.
In their six Group K matches so far, England have not conceded any goals.
There are two games left to play for Tuchel’s team, against Serbia on November 13 at Wembley Stadium and Albania on November 16 in the country’s capital Tirana.
England won the first leg against Serbia 5-0 and the one against Albania 2-0.
Next year’s men’s World Cup will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The draw for the 2026 cup’s group stage fixtures will take place in Washington on December 5, with US President Donald Trump set to join FIFA president Gianni Infantino at the John F Kennedy Center to decide the match-ups.
