Bradford Equity Partnership and Bradford Council have announced this year’s Bradford Pride will take place in City Park on Saturday, 30 August.
Bradford Pride has seen large crowds over many years. This year’s event features local performers, craft making stalls, and an as-yet-unannounced headline act. More information on the acts and activities during the day will be released in the coming weeks.
The event is free to attend and everybody is welcome.
Councillor Sinead Engel, Bradford Council’s LGBTQ+ Champion, said: “We are pleased to be supporting the Equity Partnership to bring Bradford Pride back to City Park. It is always a great event and welcomes people from across the district and beyond and we can’t wait to celebrate our vibrant LGBTQ+ community and its allies. There will be opportunities for everyone to get involved, show their support and have fun while celebrating equality and diversity in our City and District.”
Becky Hutchinson, from Equity Partnership, said: “Bradford Pride is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate who we are, and showcase the diversity and inclusion that Bradford is known for. We’re excited to bring the event back to the heart of the city with a day full of music, creativity and pride. Everyone is welcome and we’re looking forward to seeing City Park filled with colour and positivity this summer.”
