This May Half Term at Eden Camp Modern History Museum near Malton, visitors can step inside one of the 20th century’s most iconic armoured vehicles – the legendary Sherman M50 tank. You can explore the crew compartment up close and get expert insight into the vehicle’s history and mechanics.
Sessions are limited to eight people. Visitors must be at least 16 years old, physically fit enough to access the vehicle, and able to fit through the hatch.
This unique offering is part of Eden Camp’s Tank Week, running from 23rd-31st May. Throughout the week, the modern military museum will host a range of hands-on activities, including live tank demonstrations, remote-control tank courses, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly challenges to bring history to life.
