‘Countryside Lincs’ draws record crowds

Countryside Lincs marked its 10th anniversary on Sunday 19th April. It was the biggest event to date, welcoming record-breaking crowds of nearly 8,000 visitors to the Lincolnshire Showground.

Alongside animal attractions like the Hawkeye Falconry Display and baby Highland cows, the brand-new Crazy Golf Course proved a hit. New entertainment in the rings included the Dart Polo Academy, a Shire Horse display and a one-day British Show Jumping competition.

Rosie Crust, Head of Charity at the Lincolnshire Showground, said:

“Celebrating our 10th year with such an incredible turnout has been truly heart-warming. Countryside Lincs is all about inspiring families to connect with rural life and seeing so many children laughing, learning and getting hands-on with the countryside reminds us exactly why this event matters. We’re so grateful to our exhibitors, volunteers and visitors for making this year our most memorable yet.”
