A life-sized animatronic elephant is the star attraction of York BID’s latest ‘Family Friendly Saturday’ event.
Appearing on Saturday 6th June at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm, Jumbo the Elephant towers over crowds at 2 metres tall. Jumbo will explore the area around St Martin’s Clock on Coney Street with lifelike sounds and movements.
Carl Alsop, Operations Manager at York BID, said:
“We’re so excited to bring Jumbo the Elephant to Coney Street this June. This is our eleventh ‘Family Friendly Saturday’, and we’re incredibly proud to have welcomed thousands of families into the city centre through these playful, memorable experiences.”
