Road improvement works are due to begin on Cottingham Road, Hall Road and Endike Lane in Hull.
To minimise disruption, the scheme will be delivered in phases, with full closures kept to a minimum.
The first phase will begin on Endike Lane, with carriageway resurfacing works between Keswick Gardens and Greenwood Avenue from Monday 12 January to Friday 23 January. Only two full road closures are planned during this period, taking place on Tuesday 13 January and Friday 23 January.
During the road closures, a diversion route will be in place via Hall Road, Inglemire Lane, Hull Road and New Village Road, depending on the direction of travel.
Outside of the road closures, a heavy-duty steel board will be used to protect the newly laid concrete whilst it hardens, maintaining traffic flow.
Following this, work to improve the Cottingham Road and Hall Road roundabout will commence on Monday 2 February, with an expected completion date of Friday 13 February.
This section of the scheme will be delivered in two phases, maintaining traffic flow between Hall Road and Fairfax Avenue with temporary signals.
Throughout the durations of these works, access to Hotham Road North and Cottingham Road on both sides of the roundabout will be closed.
Local residents and businesses will be notified in advance of the works starting, and information boards will be in place at each location.
Dates for this scheme are weather dependent and subject to change.
