Thousands of diners took part in October’s York Restaurant Week helping push its total economic impact to nearly £6 million since launch.
Running from 13th to 26th October 2025, the latest edition of the York BID event saw 113 businesses take part, collectively offering 258 exclusive food and drink deals across the city’s vibrant dining scene.
31,076 offer vouchers downloaded from the York Restaurant Week website, representing an estimated £555,000 boost in trade generated for participating venues. Some venues achieved exceptional results, with some individual offers securing more than 1,600 voucher downloads worth over £25,000 in sales value.
With 12 editions of York Restaurant Week now complete, the total estimated economic benefit of the scheme has reached between £5million to £6million
