North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a collision in Scarborough on Monday the 22nd June 2020.

It happened at 6.40pm on Ramshill Road when a woman riding a bicycle was approaching the junction to Albion Road.

The cyclist was caused to come off her bicycle when a white hatchback, possibly an Audi, pulled out of the junction narrowly missing her.

The vehicle failed to stop at the scene of an accident. The cyclist was left in shock at the scene.

We are requesting the public’s assistance for information about the vehicle.
