Hunt won the race alongside Dina Asher-Smith, Zharnel Hughes and Jeremiah Azu.
Hunt had already taken gold in the women’s 4x100m relay, the 100m and 200m races in Birmingham.
The closest anyone has come to winning four titles at one of the championships is legendary Dutch sprinter Fanny Blankers-Koen, with three gold medals and relay silver back in 1950.
Among British athletes, John Regis won four medals in 1990 – two golds plus a silver and a bronze.
