Daniel Siad, whose name appeared thousands of times in the Epstein files, was discovered on Monday in the suburb of Colombes.
“An investigation to determine the cause of death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery,” the Nanterre prosecutor’s office said.
An autopsy will be performed, officials added.
The 69-year-old had previously denied any knowledge of the threat posed by the disgraced financier.
According to Le Parisien, he died of cardiac arrest.
